the way that this movie is still driving me insane!! was it the good man or the monster? was it Teddy Daniels or Andrew Laeddis? i am not fully convinced on both sides although I've been more of a believer on the teddy daniels side after the rewatch. it's just that there are SO MANY points that make me doubt both sides, I'm just so unsure like at this point it can't be any of them. if it is the Teddy Daniels side: how did they know how the girl from his dreams actually looked like and managed to get photographic evidence? how did they know exactly what was going on in his dreams? how is it possible that the names were a perfect anagram if they drove him insane, how did that just coincidentally happen? because I know there are no fucking coincidences in this movie scorsese 😭 if it is the andrew laeddis side: why did the doctor compleyely disregard the SECOND rachel? like what did his own brain just explain him all those scientific processes? how did the island just play a game with "their most dangerous" inmate? why would they constantly be stressing him and driving him crazy (like about the partner) if he was a mentally ill patient? I LITERALLY CANNOT MAKE SENSE OF IT ANYMORE SOMEONE SIT ME DOWN WITH MARTIN SCORSESE NOWWWW
