Aftersun

This film is absolutely beautiful, I admittedly started off unsure of what it wanted to do but as it played out longer and longer I slowly began to enjoy it more and that final scene was absolutely beautiful and was the moment this movie clicked with me. You expect this movie to do so much more and tell you so much more but it respects you as an intelligent person who doesn’t need to be spoon fed everything. While it isn’t outright stated Calum commits suicide at the end, the movie respects you enough to put those pieces together and it ends up leaving you so much more satisfied when the movie ends.
