The Ring

5 stars may be a bit generous, but I remember this being one of my first horror movies I watched when I was younger. Samaras character design always stuck with me and the scene of her crawling out the tv at the end did too. I think the movie still has some effectively creepy moments and I think I prefer this remake over the Japanese original, but I don't think either of the two sequels should of been made because they don’t capture the feeling this one did and just felt like cash grabs.
