The thing that surprised me the most was how relatable Nikkis character was. Yes, I do know that she wasn’t herself and she had lost complete bodily autonomy… however I could see little bits of myself within her craziness. Every character is simply searching for unconditional love and in the midst of magical wishes and a poor cat, the movie was able to perfectly encapsule what it feels like to beg someone to love you (platonically or romantically). Anyways I’m gonna go apologize to my bf now.
