“YOU’RE JUST LIKE THE BABY JESUS” This movie is just off the walls like it’s got jokes cracking anytime you look away and go back to the movies and they just land each and every time & I am so glad Seth managed to pull that off with a movie about a guy wishing his teddy bear came to life and then doing drugs in their adulthood, Ted in the movie is a pretty terrible guy & he owns up to it and acknowledges he messed up Johnny’s life big time & he is willing to stay away out of it if he could see his pal get back with the girl of his dreams and I really like that about Ted and his character. The final arc is just absolutely insane Ted getting kidnapped by the guy and kid who tried to buy him earlier and then a car chase occurring as his friends come to save him had no reason for me to be panicking that much for a stuffed bear but here we are, And the moment where Ted is ripped in half and his two different half’s hit the ground just hit me in the heart cause I loved Ted during the whole film so seeing him that state just hurt even more. Johnny and Lori are the main focuses of the movie though and they may seem to have a pretty generic relationship arc but it’s extremely different cause of Ted and them reconciling and going to rescue Ted as he’s the main reason their relationship was fixed is just awesome, Overall this movie is just a comedic juggernaut with some absolute amazing heart added on to it as well with the actors just hitting those notes to home for me personally.
