“i’ll go.” “and i’ll stay.”  so beautifully heartbreaking. i read this book about 3-4 years ago, didn’t like it but it’s always been in the back of my mind. watching the show was mesmerizing, truly. i relate so heavily to Connell that it’s alarming, being so far from home and being somewhere entirely different from it is jarring. i think i watched this at a good time in my life, just going through a lot and realizing so many stuff, it’s so scary and you never shake the feeling of loneliness but watching a show like this makes it a bit easier. it’s sad for sure, but it’s comforting at the same time.
