Phantom Thread
By far PTA’s best movie. The cinematography is so beautiful. Probably the best looking movie of the last 20 years, and definitely of recent memory and honestly of all time. And I mean wow it’s such a poetic and tragic story so may emotions and psychological sspects Daniel day Lewis does his usual work in a absolutely captivating and stellar performance but in my opinion the real star performance of this was from Vicky krieps. She played her role so well and you really felt her emotions and what she was going through. I can’t believe I dragged so long to watch this and overlooked it. I still can’t get over how well this was shot it’s is like the purest representation of the evolution of the art of filmmaking, or atleasy how I believe film should look now. It’s so crisp and defined like a modern movie yet has the texture and colors of a classic .
