Obsession
Utterly disturbing. To the core.
I can’t remember if I said this after my first watch, but the combination of use of lighting and music to show which “characters” are in the scene is brilliant.
There is definitely some subtle foreshadowing with the framing of scenes, like they are not trying to hide that. You can feel it and it HUGELY contributes to the tension building of the scene, so much so you can feel the entire theater holding their breath.
Something breaks during the restaurant scene and the pacing of this movie multiplies ten fold. I tried counting the number of times I got goosebumps and I lost track after 10.
I knew when every single major moment was going to happen because of my first watch and everything I have seen on instagram and I still jumped or freaked out every single time.
