Stalker

I'm sure its sacrilege for me to say I almost forgot how beautiful this film truly is but with this rewatch I don't think I understand it fully but I felt it and believed in it in and out and god is it a profounding piece of work. The passion of expression, the cost of creation and the painting of time is all showcased here creating a truly unique, sensory, haunting, thrilling, patient, living, memory experience. Surrender and breathe Stalker and you walk into a world of pure utter beauty that is as rare as maybe the Room of the film itself. It's as maybe even more hypnotic then it's ever been for me, this film imprints onto your soul and damn I can't wait to revisit this again and again. Tarkovsky's work urges incredible obsession of humanistic and cinematic kinds and Stalker strikes you with a cord that never dies. Like the best of films the more you watch it the more you see something new in it and I certainly gain much from this little midnight sleepless rewatch.
