The Thing
Film 3 Of 4 In The 666 Movie Marathon
I just love this movie, something about it feels so cozy despite its horrifying nature, it feels like your one of the group on this base, like you know each individual, so when everyone starts to loose it and collapse, turning on each other and fun camaraderie turns to hopelessness and despair, it feels real and that adds to the tension, the cliffhanger which people claim to have solved but will endlessly debate is one of the scariest endings of all time because of the multiple ways it could end and possibly my favourite horror movie ending, nearly 44 years later and this movie still looks as good as ever, some of the best practical effects I’ve seen, this movie gets everything right even the little details, it doesn’t matter what type of horror you prefer this movies got something for everyone
