Easily one of the best action movies ever made. The big question is if it is Woo’s best. Consensus seems to find it’s either this or the killer. While The Killer is a tighter movie (half an hour shorter), at the end of the day the action here is unmatched. The hospital sequence (so basically half the movie) is astonishing and memorable. The characters are likeable, and watching this on 4k with hdr makes you realize just how beautiful this movie is at times as well. I think yeah, this is Woo’s best. Peak action cinema.
