Scream
There are certain rules someone must abide by to survive a scary movie.
Finally got to see my most watched film on the big screen. I can practically act out every scene of this film but even with that I never grow tired of it and every watch I come away with something new that I loved. It’s a perfect film and there’s no other way to put it. There are so many iconic quotes and so many iconic characters that I adore. Stu might be my favorite character of all time. Liver alone.
The older I have gotten I have started to actually understand all the movie references that are everywhere in this. It’s so bloody cool for anyone who is obsessed with movies. Scream has always been very meta horror but the original really was ahead of it’s time. The music, the cinematography it’s all just so perfect and it is such a comfort movie for myself. If you asked me on a random day I might tell you this is my favorite film out of all the ones I have seen. Arguably the greatest opening scene in cinema too let’s not forget. That whole Randy explaining how to survive a horror film is one of my favorite scenes in any film, it’s just perfect and I love Randy.
The minute Scream ended last night I wanted it to start up again. It’s actually crazy that no matter how many times I watch this film I still manage to laugh just as much as the first time. One of the funniest films of all time and it’s a fucking horror. Definitely the greatest horror film of all time and very high on my all time favorites list.
You sick fucks, you’ve seen one too many movies!
