One of the best movies I’ve watched in a really long time. Expertly crafted dialogue with an undeniably great performance from James Caan who I think could rival DeNiro or Nicholson at his peak in the 70s-early80s. With movies that are this great, I always fear that the ending will result in the viewer being let down or wanting more. Yet, Michael Mann kicks it up at the climax to tie everything up in what I find to be a top5 ending in cinematic history. If you haven’t seen this, watch it asap.
