WandaVision

👍76% Not as good as I remembered. I think when you take out the pure mystery of what the hell is going on in this show, as well as the week to week episode structure, it loses a lot of steam. The outside villain ( don’t even remember his name) could’ve been so interesting as a character if he wasn’t turned into some mustache twisting villain in the end of the show. The best part of this show is easily Paul Bettany. His acting is absolutely incredible here and it makes me miss him as the Vision. The rest of the cast is cringey but they have their fun moments. Wanda is cool but holy is she overrated, overpowered, and overworked in this show. Agatha is an ok villain, I saw it coming a mile away the first time I watched this show, but Hahn gives a charming enough performance that I can see past it and have fun with the character. Now that I think of it though, the only significance this has had so far in the mcu was setting Wanda up to be a villain in Doctor Strange 2. To be fair I haven’t seen Agatha, and i know the Vision show will be sparked by this too, but the lack of connections in the last few years of marvel just pisses me off in general. I’m shitting on this show more than I wanna be, because it really is entertaining and fun, and the Halloween episode is still phenomenal, as well as the expositional episode. So it’s not bad, but I feel no need to watch it again.
