Finding Nemo
This movie is really good and its much better than i rememberd. i always knew that i grew up with great movies the mcu pixar dcu disney and so many more are the highlights of my childhood but there are certain movies that i think had a really big imact on me and this movie is one of those movies it is probably the 2nd most watched movie of my childhood right behind ratatouille and maybe incredibles.
Going into this i had really high expectations for a movie that for lack of better words "raised me" and it hit every single expectaion i set for it it was unexpectedly funny with jokes that hold up no matter the age for example when marlin and dory bassicly break up and its the funniest shit ever another example is the turtles being stoners and "skater boys" abseloutly hilarious gill was another unexpted suprise and is probably my favourite charcter william defo was amazing and you could feel his trauma everytime he was on screen.
Now i would like to mention some highlights from this movie, the tale of marlin spreading was really nice to see they could've went for the cheap route of nemo just saving himself because hes the main charcter but no nemo is a kid and he is scared to death because he is seperated from his dad for the first time in his life and when nemo heard that his dad is fighting sharks and meeting turtles he is inspired because of his dad's bravery. this entire movie is about letting go and the moment that defines this point the best in my opinion is when marlin lears how to let go inside the whale and without this moment and so many other along the movie dory would've probably died in the end. another highlight is dory as a whole she was abseloutly hilarious throughout the movie and her realitionship with marlin is the biggest highlight of the movie their chemistry is electric. nemo learning the power of his abilities is probably me second favourite thing about this movie and his charcter development as a whole was excellent throughout this entire movie.
Overall this is an amazing film it doesnt really drop off and is really consistent unlike many other films of this genere and altough it does cater towards children it doesnt feel like a movie made only for kids oh and FUCK DARLA 9.0/10.
