BEEF
Beef is a representation of what perfect TV is and should be. It maintains incredible pacing and rise in plot and tension whilst simultaneously being reflective and heart-felt. It uses wry-humor to explore happiness as a concept and society's desperate craving for it. The acting performances are incredible and it is a perfectly balanced movie. It is not an incredibly unique or creative idea but it manages to balance humor, exciting dialogue and a philosophical reflection on life. It is a great representation of class struggle and how psychological issues stem from childhood trauma. It is an incredible, comforting, melancholic, funny, and exhilarating series and it was beautiful.
