Ring

this is I think my 4th rewatch of this film now and I’ve always really liked it, but everything just clicked this time round. one of the most influential horror movies of all time, with 貞子 being one of the most recognisable and tragic characters ever put into a horror film. the atmosphere is so rich, making the whole film unnerving and tense. the characters are great, the cinematography is stunning and the final act is one of the greatest out there. an obvious must watch for any fan of J-horror and just horror in general. perfect!
