Deep Cover

This is a fuckin' masterpiece combining traditional thriller elements with blaxploitation and noir with some poignant social commentary.  Maybe some elements of the narrative are a little flimsy. Maybe it's a little overly moralistic in the end. It's not perfect, but it's such an absolute banger that I'd easily slot it in my top 10 genre movies I've ever seen. There’s an incredible amount to feast on. Larry is just off the charts here and it's incredible that Goldblum keeps up but he does. Incredible editing and soundtrack. Badass movie. Can’t say it enough.
