Halloween

You know what fuck it. Im not afraid to give this movie 5 stars. There are so many things about this movie that make me adore it in every way possible. First of all the score, one of my favorite movie scores and Im so happy John Carpenter was able to return to score this movie. Michael is so badass in this movie. He does not give a fuck and will kill anyone that stands in his way. The 3rd act is perfect in my eyes and gives off the perfect amount of suspense, and thrills that are possible. I love the showdown between Laurie and Michael and to be honest I feel like this has a perfect ending to it. I think the direction that they chose to have Laurie go in is perfect and Im so happy with her character arc in this film. As a die hard halloween franchise fan this movie just pleases me in every way possible. Bringing back nostalgia, having a Laurie and Michael showdown, more gruesome kills, and a very smart and creative story is everything that a halloween fan could ever ask for. In my eyes It is the perfect sequel to Halloween (1978) and this movie keeps on getting better and better every time I rewatch it. I always have a blast watching this movie and I am so unbelievably excited for Halloween Ends which I get to see Friday!!
