X

This film is Xactly what I wanted! It Xceeded my Xpectations! It was just so Xcellent They were not wrong in the advertisements at all that was one goddamn fucked up horror movie holy shit.  The kills were fantastic and so creative and I loved the slow burn vibe. The old lady Pearl is such a creepy and weird horror villain and she is just amazing. Now obviously I expected Jenna Ortega to take the stage and be my favorite but no. Don’t get me wrong she was amazing and had SUCH A GOOD SCREAM. Brittany Snow and Mia Goth were the two standouts for me. Their characters were so interesting and so out there and I loved it. Writing this review just makes me so happy and it makes me want to watch the film again to be honest.  X is also such a beautiful film. The visuals, the vibrant colors, the cinematography. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. Even the nighttime looked amazing. This did not feel like a A24 movie until it got weird but even then it did not feel like an A24 movie. Whole different vibe.  Overall, this was my most anticipated movie of 2022 and I lived up to the hype I was giving it. STAY UNTIL THE END OF THE CREDITS!!!! Xcellent film
