Buying into the hype for Curry Barker. Twisted mind when it comes to tense imagery. So many shots in this film have something small that is off about them. Blurs in the distant background given the situation, made for some uneasy moments. Written very smart, and the twists are earned. Inde Navarette has a future in this genre. The decision to have her walking in such a way that looks robotic at times is fantastic. I’d imagine those were shot in reverse. Couple fun indie and alt songs on the soundtrack faintly. We are witnessing something very special from Barker. Bring on his Texas Chainsaw film.
