BEEF

not going to rate since it is atv show, but i like to log stuff that i really liked.  netflix finally has another show that really competes with some of their great first seasons.  my only thing is, i’m scared they’ll make another season.  they made another season of stranger things that just didn’t hit as much as the first.  they made another season of last chance u when it Didn’t Need Another One.  beef ends on a note that i think can be a one season show.  steven yeun and ali wong are absolutely Amazing in this. that last episode alone shows how far they can go emotionally.  but, i don’t think we needed to go for 2-3 more episodes.  it could have ended before the wiring incident. (you’ll know what i mean if you watch the show.)  but, we wouldn’t have gotten the last episode if it weren’t for that incident.  and the 9th episode also gave me a headache so i had to stop watching when the credits rolled for that one.  great premise that gets expanded upon and still has that a24 charm even if it is a netflix production as well.  debating if it would be a 4 or 4.5/5. i’d be leaning more towards 4.5.
