Casablanca

I don’t really know what to say about this one other than it is absolutely amazing. I really believe in their love which is what makes the ending all the better. Man the ending is something, maybe a top 10 ending in all cinema. I wouldn’t say it leaves you sad, but perfectly shows the challenging and darks times of WW2, and the uncertainty as well, perfectly expressed by the fog in the background. The fog is a representation of how we don’t know what will happen next in such dark times, but the characters in that fog give us hope for each and every one. The ending gets better and better the more I think about it.
