Recently I’ve been on a studio ghibli movie watch run, and if the 3 I watched, princess Mononoke stands out as something much different than the others. Although it contains much of the same element as the other studio ghibli films, it does it with a more serious tone. Not to say there isn’t a serious tone in howls moving castle or my neighbor Totoro but there is a much less serious tone, maybe because of the of rating in the other three and the pg 13 rating in this film. Still has the beauty I love from a studio ghibli film and I definitely recommend
