Felt like a clinic in writing music biopics, a difficult genre to get right without it coming across cliche and quite formulaic. At the start it feels like Chalamet is just dressing up as Bob Dylan but by the end he IS Bob Dylan. Dylan is such a unique artist, with such soulful music, just can’t help but love every song. Also I enjoyed the fact it felt like music was the focus of this film and not just some half-arsed romance film. Really good.
