Titanic
It’s a bit embarrassing to admit that this is my first time seeing this, but in a way I’m glad I waited until I was older because I’m really able to appreciate how incredible this really is. I mean, what a tremendous, spectacular film this is. There was nothing like it before and there will be nothing like it ever again. The runtime is a bit daunting but I have NEVER seen a movie that justifies its length like this one. In over 3 hours, there is not a single wasted second, every single scene and line of dialogue is important and advances the plot in a perfect way. In many ways, the most spectacularly paced movie I’ve ever seen. That’s not even talking about the performances. No fucking wonder Leo and Kate Winslet were made fucking superstars after this thing, they are INCREDIBLE, the chemistry is oozing out of the screen, I’ve really never seen chemistry this palpable in any movie period. Also, maybe the hottest romantic leads of any film ever?! Idk man I’m rambling and I’m writing this with tears streaming down my face and I can’t wait to watch this again. I give out a lot of five stars but this is the most five stars I’ve felt about a movie in a while.
