Thirteen

Horribly disturbing yet so gorgeously beautiful. This movie written by Niki Reed when only thirteen years old created an amazing masterpiece. Based on her experiences as being a thirteen year old. Only two scenes being filmed on a tripod one of those being in a trolly. The rest just a guy holding the camera. The shakes of the camera make it seem so much more real. It makes it feel like you’re there experiencing it. The lack of budget the rush of it all also makes it feel so much more real. The colour filters on the film each colour representing what is being felt what emotion is happening in that moment. It is just so beautiful. Please read the trigger warnings first before watching. It is hard to watch.
