Sicario

Heart pounding technical thriller from Denis Villeneuve accompanied by gripping writing from Taylor Sheradin, powerhouse acting from Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin and Daniel Kaluuya among others. Equal level of care and craftsmanship is shown by sir Rodger Deakins with his cinematography and chilling score composed by Jóhann Jóhannsson only adds more layers to the work. The border war has never seemed so dreadfully tense and morally ambiguous thanks to all who worked on assembling this phenomenal film. Find a shot during a Denis Villeneuve feature post 2010 that isn’t absolutely stunning challenge (impossible). Denis Villeneuve Ranked
