Alien

“I can’t lie to you about your chances, but… you have my sympathies.” Undeniable how pitch perfect this actually is. A film that constantly keeps you on the edge while also keeping you in awe of the immaculate production design and cinematography. I adore how Scott uses silence throughout this thing; it’s incredible. And of course you can’t talk about Alien without mentioning Sigourney Weaver, and the powerhouse of a performer she is. Ripley is an iconic protagonist for obvious reasons, and she’s a complete badass. Phenomenal picture!
