i mean, deserved, interestingly enough. two towers AND the pianist dropped this year too. i like both of those films more than this but like… you love to see a musical (a great one at that) win best picture

…deserved? this was a great film, sure, but i still dont know why everybody was acting like this was the clear winner. pretty much any of these nominees couldve won (except maybe barbie) and i wouldve been happy. i (being weird) wouldve opted for poor things, but am also impartial to the holdovers, killers of the flower moon, and maestro.

deserved… this film is great, but so is wolf of wall street, as well as dallas buyers club. even then, i wouldve pickedher, but i might be weird for that.
