Interstellar
Ever since I saw this movie for the first time years ago, I thought "I'm so mad at myself for not seeing this in imax" which is a feeling I've only felt really one other time with Blade runner 2049. I'm so glad I've finally had the opportunity to see this not only on the big screen but the BIG SCREEN! Seeing the beautiful imagery of earth and space (especially the black hole) on a screen that size absolutely blew me away! Being able to hear the amazing score from hans zimmer being blasted into my ears and then being able to hear the nothingness of space! One of the most tense scenes in the docking sequence ever put to film was only explemified on this screen with the pure size and sound all coming together to create one of my favorite experiences I've ever had in theater! Maybe I'm just really emotional from it all but I started tearing up more than I usually do during many scenes throughout this film. Absolutely love this movie and am so glad I got to spend it with some of my favorite people in the world!
P.S. Please re-release Blade runner 2049 in imax
