The ultimate illogical storytelling of paranoia, MKUltra (by way of a demonic agenda), quick cuts of red-infused flashbacks that’s inserted through random scenes—attempts to stay consistent but fumbles with two plots fighting for relevancy that inherently becomes devoid of any understanding on both ends; mostly indescribable, not even the synopsis gets it right—a jumbled mess of ideas that doesn’t entirely work. The questions that aren’t answered becomes irrelevant due to the amount of entertainment that Devour radiates is irresistible, and it’s humorous to deconstruct the bizarre ideas unfold on-screen on rewatches. Shannyn Sossamon is in this—a bonus that piles onto itself x1000 times over. “You ungrateful punk!”
