Was this the best horror movie I’ve ever seen? No. Were there a few poorly written/poorly executed scenes? Sure. Is it maybe a bit overhyped? Yeah. But did I have a grand fucking time watching this?? Absolutely I did. And I was indeed a bit creeped out on my 40 minute drive home alone in the dark going up a mountain.
