Final Destination

i have a headcanon that carter secretly thinks that billy is cool & wants to friends with him, and that's why he messes with him so much. it's also why he lets billy sit shotgun in his car later on. we see how carter acts when he ACTUALLY dislikes someone (alex), and it's not whatever he's doing to billy. clearly, our guy carter just doesn't know anything about interacting with people in normal ways (this can equally be taken as carter struggling through some sort of crush btw! because, let's just be real for a second, carter is definitely not straight)
