Dune: Part Two

Despite what the world has you believe, life is full of the mundane and the ordinary. There are more days that beat you up and get you down than there are those that bring you joy. Routinely following a strict schedule and failing to break the mould set by those before you. But every once in a while there’s a momentary reminder that life is beautiful, worth enduring in order to enjoy. This is one of these moments.  I feel extremely privileged to be alive right now, given a chance to experience this modern magnum opus of sci-fi excellence. Dune: Part Two left me levitating and salivating at the mouth. I need Messiah and I need it now. Jaw-dropping, insanely immersive and sheer beauty on film - the purest form of the art medium. Frank Herbert, Denis Villeneuve, Hans Zimmer and Greig Fraser - take a long hard bow. Kings of their craft.  Long Live the Fighters. Lisan al Gaib.
