It Ends with Us

“as his sister, i wish more than anything that you could find a way to forgive him. but as your best friend, lily if you take him back.. i will never speak to you again.” no amount of behind the scenes drama will change my view of this film. it does objectively have its flaws, but there are a ton of redeeming qualities. the hate train was just so forced, and most people who joined in haven’t even seen the movie; therefore, their opinion = irrelevant. i still believe it should have ended after the title drop, and the atlas inclusion afterwards was pointless. sure, it concludes the story further, but it takes away the full effect of the scene prior entirely. lily blossom bloom, you’re a mess who did some messy things, but you did not deserve any of that. ps: it’s corny, but who cares? it adds to the appeal.
