Collateral
I refuse to believe any can watch this film and say Tom Cruise doesn't have any range. The energy he brings to this role is insane. At times calm and charming whilst also being chilling and ruthless made for such a thrilling watch. Both the scene in the Nightclub and the scene in the Jazz club are some of my favourites that I've watched recently. What really locked me in was the chemistry between Cruise and Foxx. It gave the film the genuine feeling that it needed especially with a third act that ends up feeling like a huge coincidence. The film definitely starts better than it ends but it was a great time regardless.
Mann's cinematography really brings LA to life and I could easily have watched more of Jamie Foxx driving people around.
