on a rewatch, I might have decided this is my favourite mcu movie and it's been long enough now that I don't feel like it's necessarily recency bias (even though it's still the second newest as of right now). i just find the combination of bold visuals, heavier themes, morally troubled characters, and slower pacing to all work really well together—not to mention the incredibly strong symbolism. idk man, i also just love florence pugh and sebastian stan and that's probably playing a big part. but who knows, brand new day is around the corner and thats previously been my shit so i'm excited.
