i was waiting for some big sad moment where something terrible happens to father and so bc i was waiting for that it didn’t hit me until later what the film was trying to say and it’s just devastating thinking about him wanting to be the best dad he can but feeling as though he is letting his daughter down when all she wants is to be with her dad and that’s enough for her.
