COME ON the score, the cinematography, the performances, the subtle details, the visuals, the characters, the sound track, the sexiness, the sauce.   on rewatch i felt more so for patrick. all these characters are flawed and have selfish and morally bad moments but i feel like patrick loved the two of them the most and he was alienated. tashi played her two little white boys in more ways than one and i think that line to me sums her and the two boys up really well. everything she did was for the love of the game more than it was for the two of them. she got some thrill from manipulating and bending them to her will. that last sequence is so intense and satisfying because you know what’s gonna happen but you’re just waiting for it to happen and it’s just like an exhilarating release where every character gets what they want.
