this is a masterfully crafted piece of film. seeing the subtle hints of what’s to come of paul’s character is just so cool. when he is trying to away dr kynes to help him what he says to her is so similar to his speech in part 2 how he convinces people to follow him. i notice something new every rewatch. this is just a masterclass in world building. this movie flies by and i feel it’s because of how interesting and distinct each act is
