Sicario

the cinematography, acting, and music are all elite in this movie. the characters are very captivating each in their own respect. emily blunt was great as always and benicio del toro had a stand out performance. the dynamic between their two characters make the movie. this is another one of denis villeneuve masterpieces. the only thing i’m a bit fuzzy on is when josh brolin’s character tells emily blunt’s that there needs to be order within these drug operation so i’m unclear if the higher ups in government wants to stop the cartel or if they are aware of the fact that brolin’s team is not playing by the books and are doing their own thing, this confusion on my end keeps it from being a 5 star.
