The Witch

just a perfect deconstruction of christianity through its patriarchal, sexist, and otherwise flawed nature. you see as the film progresses the problem with their blind devout faith and the restrictions it places upon them, and what’s even crazier is people live like this to this day. so much to pick up on with each rewatch, robert eggers and anya taylor-joy are amazing.
