Trainspotting

"for a vegetarian, rents, you're a fucking evil shot!" i'm always so shocked to realize trainspotting is only 94 minutes. it packs so much into the runtime and doesn't waste anytime - it just throws you into the insanity of these characters lives. i'll also stand by the fact that lust for life is the greatest opening needle drop in cinema. it's an immediate burst of energy that would completely change the movie of it weren't there.
