all i could think of whenever scores were being called out was greg heffley’s “whatever you say … love”  ngl i was expecting more from this movie based on the trailers — like i feel like we didn’t really see much past making out and foreplay but i guess the small gestures throughout (churro scene …..) and the intensity of those tennis matches made up for it; whoever put the music score together was absolutely insane, every time that rave beat started playing i was on the edge of my seat !! the camera work was absolutely phenomenal too and i need to know how it was done … like did guadagnino stick a go pro on a tennis ball and call it a pov or what; overall, the tennis matches were BY FAR the best part of this film ugh i’m still thinking about tashi’s first match, the “come on!!!!!” oh yeah. i also don’t think anyone’s looked better than she did during that party scene in the blue dress oh my god also thinking about mike faist’s grunts every time he’d hit the ball sounding like a duck … true cinema
