Frances Ha

this movie truly highlights the importance of platonic relationships in your life … while frances always joked about her putrid love life or being “undateable,” at the end of the day she still held solid relationships within the friends around her. the relationships she had with sophie and frances were EVERYTHING i mean the monologue about what she wants in a relationship truly spoke to me with “and you look across the room and catch each other’s eyes … but not because you’re possessive or it’s precisely sexual, but because that is your person in life” and then there was that scene where she and sophie  just locked eyes and smiled and i!!!! ugh i need to move to new york or open a credit card and rack up debt in france
