i’ve never watched austin butler’s elvis but from the short clips i’ve seen i think i can already say jacob elordi easily outshined him with less screen time but enough of the men omg leave it to sofia coppola to truly depict the love story that has been overly romanticized for ages — i love how she didn’t shy away from the realities of their age gap, power imbalance, nor any of the darker aspects that came along with elvis & priscilla’s relationship. i’ll forever adore her montages <3 and cailee spaely is absolutely stunning and perfectly captures priscilla’s naivety to her self-liberation and assertiveness omg absolutely obsessed
