Sinners

After watching the Oscars tonight, I was convinced to revisit Sinners. I have landed on the conclusion that I was wrong… Really fucking wrong. This is a film that is incomparable to anything else, a modern classic that I believe will have pioneered a style that was a long time coming. Ryan Coogler’s approach to this is simply genius, nothing like it. I regret not seeing this in theater, that will always haunt me.
