honestly forgot i hadn't reviewed it because i was 100% sure i did with how much I've thought about it since i watched it at the cinema. just Insane performance by jennifer lawrence. totally stressful. filled with loud noises, knows exactly how to build tension, make you feel how it is to never know when the bomb might explode. people overlook it, saying its panic-inducing with all the noise, borderline ridiculous due to grace's behavior. and like that, they unknowingly represent exactly the very same society that makes these women feel like they are insane. never seen postpartum depression portrayed in this way. wonderfully done.
