All memories are traces of tears. With the masterpiece that is In the Mood for Love setting this up, 2046 forces us to ponder time, love, and our places and perceptions of them both. It feels like a culmination of all of WKW's work beforehand, bringing all of his themes, both story-wise and visually, together. Beautiful music, as expected, and incredible performances from the leads. It is sad to see what heartbreak can do to someone, yet our journey towards 2046 will always continue; that journey for love will always remain.
